| 4.Characteristic: |
(1). Water retention：Because this product can adsorb large numbers of water, it can strongly keep water in mortar and gypsum.
(2). Shape maintenance: Its aqueous solution has special viscoelastic performance, which maintains the shape of ceramics products.
(3). Lubricant: MC can reduce friction coefficient and improve the lubricating properties of ceramics and concrete products.
(4). PH stability: The viscosity of aqueous solution is little affected by acid or base. Its aqueous solution is stable in wide pH range from 3.0 to 11.0
(5). Film-forming property: MC can form solid, flexible and transparent films, which show good resistance to oils and lipids. |

| 5.Dissolving method: |
| Heat the water to 80-90℃ and slowly add MC under continuous agitation, after reduction in temperature and cooling to form uniform aqueous solution. Or add one third to two third of needed water, heat them to 80-90℃ and slowly add MC under continuous agitation, after swelling, add residual cool water and cooling. |

| 6.Usage: |
| Architecture industry: |
(1). Caulking compounds: First, mix the MC with the gypsum and other inorganic padding mixtures, according to the methods used to make the slurry.
(2). Glues the ceramic tile: MC can greatly improve water retention and extending the operation time for the slurry. Before construction, the ceramic tile does not have to soak with the water and the wall surface does not need to spray water. MC can help ceramic tile adhere firmly to the surface.
(3). Cement product: In the gypsum cement tubing and floor slab, MC acts as the moisture conditioners, water retention agents, retarders and cementing agents. Therefore, the cement products do not dehydrate in the pressure and the shearing force situations. At the same time MC enhances the compressive strength. |
| Paint industry: |
(1). MC is used as the thickening agents, the dispersing agents and the stabilizers in the multi- color printing production.
(2). In the latex paint, water emulsion paint and the water soluble resin paint, MC is used as the thickening agents, the emulsifiers and the stabilizers, which lead to the paint membranes with the good resistance to friction and homogenous surface and inhibits crack formation. |
